You'll receive comprehensive training in writing for theater and film, alongside chances to enhance your abilities in non-dramatic writing as well. Your skills in stage and screenwriting will grow through hands-on experience with performance techniques, while analyzing dramatic texts by creating your own works.
Central to your BA Drama and Creative Writing program are scriptwriting workshops led by professional writers, where you'll explore the structures, styles, and methods for crafting stories across various dramatic forms. You'll develop your craft by composing scenes and short scripts, providing feedback on peers' work, and collaborating with fellow Drama students.
