In this Broadcast and Multimedia Journalism program, you'll learn from instructors with current, hands-on experience in journalism and media. The curriculum covers essential journalism techniques including story discovery, research methods, writing for media, audio/video capture and editing, on-camera presentation, interview techniques, news production, legal reporting, documentary creation, data-driven investigations, and web content development. You'll gain knowledge of media laws and regulations, covering courtroom reporting, libel laws, personal privacy protections, intellectual property rights, and other legal considerations.
