Schools place significant importance on research, especially interdisciplinary applied research that shapes and informs policies and practices.
Scotland provides an ideal setting to advance initiatives focused on social inclusion, academic success, and lifelong quality of life improvement, especially during a time when integrated services and collaborative approaches are recognized as crucial.
Research teams work closely with various University departments (including Nursing, Medicine, Computing, and Psychology), partner institutions worldwide, and key organizations (such as government agencies, NGOs, nonprofits, professional groups, corporate sponsors, and other entities). Connections with the University of Dundee Graduate School, the Social Dimensions of Health Institute, as well as Research Councils and funding organizations also play a vital role.
