By merging history and psychology in your studies, you'll have access to an extensive selection of modules. Our curriculum covers social, cultural, and political history spanning from the early modern era to contemporary times, with special emphasis on the British Isles, Europe, the Americas, Africa, and India.
From your first year, you'll engage with primary sources and examine diverse historical materials, including documents, oral accounts, maps, visual media, films, artworks, and musical pieces.
You'll explore how source materials and media portrayals influence our interpretations of history. Critical examination of major historical debates will reveal their evolution and impact on our global perspective. Additionally, you'll investigate how historians construct narratives and assess their influence in modern public discourse, media, and cultural preservation.
Psychology examines the scientific principles behind human thought and behavior. The program explores infant development, cognitive changes throughout life, personality variations, and group interactions, along with psychological conditions.
