This course explores how humans interact with their environment. You'll discover ways to utilize natural resources responsibly while adopting more eco-friendly ways of living.
Today's society consumes enormous energy, produces excessive waste and pollution, damages ecosystems, diminishes species diversity, and significantly impacts human health and wellbeing. You'll analyze frameworks and strategies that promote sustainability while examining their regional and worldwide consequences on natural assets.
You'll gain specialized evaluation and interpersonal abilities to collaborate productively with various groups, individuals, and experts.
Geography investigates the connections between changing landscapes and populations across different regions and scales. You'll explore pressing global issues while honing innovative approaches to problem-solving, data presentation, and information sharing.
Our curriculum draws from departmental research, concentrating on three key areas: fostering equitable societies and spaces, influencing environmental outcomes, and applying geospatial and digital techniques.
