Upon finishing this program, Newly Qualified Nurses will be evaluated as competent to practice in their selected specialty and equipped to provide advanced, innovative care across diverse healthcare environments. They will be groomed for leadership roles and prepared to pursue prescribing qualifications.
This program is founded on the principle of delivering empathetic, patient-centered nursing care. It's an intensive two-year full-time degree designed for individuals holding a previous degree (minimum 2:2) to fast-track their registration as mental health nurses. Applicants must also possess relevant work experience in a care setting, enabling them to showcase the competencies essential for professional nursing registration. Your previous experiences will enrich the learning process throughout the course, ultimately qualifying you to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a mental health nurse, provided you satisfy all NMC criteria.
