Building upon our renowned PGCE Secondary curriculum, this Physical Education specialization equips you with the expertise to teach in secondary schools, designing and leading dynamic sports classes. This distinctive focus enables you to foster a lasting passion for physical activity in your students.
Your learning will combine theoretical knowledge with practical application, all within the National Curriculum Framework. You'll examine core PGCE principles and confidently create stimulating lessons for students aged 11-16.
More than 50% of the course involves assessed classroom placements, with school-based enrichment activities complementing your university studies. You'll complete two placements across diverse educational settings, accumulating valuable experience to propel your professional development.
