Our occupational therapy program prepares you with the essential competencies and professional credentials needed to qualify as an RCOT-accredited occupational therapist and HCPC-registered practitioner.
Throughout this occupational therapy curriculum, you'll complete over 1,000 placement hours across diverse environments, working with children, adults, and seniors facing physical, social, or mental health difficulties. These practical experiences occur within NHS facilities, local authorities, private practices, charitable organizations, and various settings including hospitals, community centers, residential care homes, and workplaces.
Additionally, you'll translate classroom knowledge into practice through realistic simulations in our specialized training facilities. This approach helps develop your abilities and self-assurance in controlled learning spaces before advancing to actual clinical situations.
Upon completing the program, you'll qualify to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and join the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT). Our alumni enjoy strong industry recognition, making them highly desirable to employers across the NHS, local government, and private healthcare sectors.
