Upon finishing the BSc Adult Nursing program, you'll fulfill the criteria for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and receive an advanced degree from the University of Cumbria.
This program equips you to become a skilled, safe, and well-informed healthcare professional, capable of providing excellent, research-backed, and empathetic patient care while gaining the specialized knowledge to advance nursing practices.
For those who've completed an FdSc Nursing Associate program, there's an option to join directly in the second year, allowing you to become a qualified adult nurse within just two years.

GCSE English Language and mathematics at grade 4 or C or above. Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths and Adult Literacy and Numeracy are also accepted.

T-levels: P (C+) – M. All subjects accepted, however we recommend T level Healthcare Science or Health for entry to this course

OCR Cambridge Technical & Edexcel/Pearson BTEC Level 3 (National) Extended Diploma: MMM – DDM

Irish LC Highers: B1, B2x3 – B2x2, A2x2
Other experience: NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Pre 2014 with 2 years health care setting work experience, post 2014 alongside another Level 3 qualification)
