This program is specifically designed for aspiring environmental scientists, with a curriculum that positions you as an emerging environmental practitioner. During your foundation year, you'll build expertise in crucial scientific and social science disciplines including Biology, Chemistry, Human Ecology, Toxicology, Public Health, Epidemiology, and Parasitology.
The foundation year emphasizes hands-on learning through extensive laboratory work and field studies, featuring a residential field trip and ongoing environmental monitoring projects. Through four specialized modules - Essential Biology, Essential Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, and Scientific Investigation - you'll develop fundamental laboratory and fieldwork competencies.
