UCA's Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction equips you with versatile skills applicable across multiple creative sectors - including game development, product creation, service innovation, software engineering, and interactive system design.
This program immerses you in human-computer interaction as both an academic field and practical design discipline, blending hands-on projects with foundational theories.
Your studies will begin by exploring human perception, physical responses, emotional influences, and their connection to interface development. The curriculum examines visual and auditory processing alongside tactile, gustatory, and olfactory senses, plus internal bodily awareness. We'll also investigate the significance of working memory, long-term recall, and environmental context in design.
