This four-year British Psychological Society-accredited program provides comprehensive exposure to psychology while allowing substantial topic selection. Students can acquire extra research experience during their final year, either through a UCL research team or in a practical workplace environment. The initial year combines mandatory courses with one optional module, covering foundational topics like scientific psychology principles, research methodology, cognitive psychology, social psychology, and personality studies.
While the second year focuses entirely on core subjects, students explore developmental psychology, clinical applications, linguistic processes, sensory perception, and behavioral neuroscience. The curriculum maintains its emphasis on advancing research methodology and statistical analysis skills throughout this period.
