This four-year degree program builds upon the Physics BSc by adding an extra year, allowing students to focus more deeply through advanced elective courses and a research project. The initial year features required courses that establish strong fundamentals in quantum and classical physics, supported by mathematics and hands-on training, including computer skills development.
In the second year, mandatory courses cover quantum physics applications in atomic and molecular structures, statistical thermodynamics, electromagnetic theory, and additional mathematics. The core quantum and condensed matter components conclude in the third year.
Both the second and third years incorporate laboratory work, project-based learning, and optional courses to broaden and strengthen understanding across various physics disciplines.
