This four-year degree program builds upon the Chemistry BSc by adding an additional year for specialization. During this extra year, you'll enhance your expertise through advanced coursework and an in-depth research project. Chemistry is available as either a three-year BSc or four-year MSci, with identical coursework for the first two years, allowing you to decide your path at the end of year two. We recommend initially choosing the four-year MSci option to maintain maximum flexibility.

During the first year, all students explore the full spectrum of chemistry while focusing on fundamental chemical competencies. You'll also complete mathematics modules tailored to your background, along with additional elective courses.

The second year continues developing the three primary chemistry disciplines through dedicated modules, while offering the flexibility to select two optional courses - one of which may be chosen from subjects outside chemistry.
