This advanced degree program combines clinical practice, academic study, and research in pediatric physiotherapy. Students will concentrate on treating children with cardiorespiratory, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. The flexible module options allow you to tailor the program to your specific interests. Through this course, you'll expand your understanding of both practical and theoretical aspects of pediatric physiotherapy. You'll critically examine conventional treatments lacking strong evidence, design and conduct clinical research, and explore innovative therapeutic approaches. The program features instruction and clinical guidance from renowned pediatric physiotherapy specialists.
Ideal candidates include World Physiotherapy-certified practitioners with under two years of pediatric experience, or seasoned professionals unable to complete clinical placements due to study leave limitations. While two years of clinical experience isn't mandatory, competitive applicants typically possess at least one year of post-qualification, supervised pediatric work beyond their internship. Applications lacking this experience will receive significantly lower priority.
