The MSc in Health Psychology, recognized by the British Psychological Society, equips you to implement scientific and theoretical health psychology principles through a rigorous academic lens while building practical expertise for careers or research in this domain. This program delivers comprehensive training in core health psychology theories, concepts, and research findings. You'll have opportunities to cultivate your specialized interests while receiving structured instruction in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.

Full-time learners and part-time students in their first year must participate in weekly journal club sessions. These gatherings aim to enhance critical evaluation abilities, presentation techniques, and analytical skills essential for coursework assessments. Under faculty supervision, two participants each week present a research article connected to that week's lecture topics, facilitating group analysis of the paper's strengths and weaknesses. The selected articles are distributed one week prior to each session. These journal clubs operate during the first two academic terms, featuring papers aligned with all eight course modules.
