This program offers advanced training in experimental methods for analyzing drug mechanisms (pharmacology), a discipline where UCL has pioneered theoretical and technical advancements for more than 100 years. The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in traditional and contemporary pharmacological methods. Students will also enhance their abilities in literature-based research, data interpretation, and clear scientific communication. The program is collaboratively delivered by the School of Pharmacy's Pharmacology Research Department and the Biosciences Division's Neuroscience, Physiology & Pharmacology Research Department. Both departments maintain a longstanding global reputation for excellence in this field, combining their expertise to deliver state-of-the-art instruction in pharmacological principles, research methodologies, and innovation.
