The MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development explores the crucial connections between urban planning and socio-environmental issues in developing nations. It questions conventional development models, emphasizing strategic solutions to combat environmental inequities and strengthen community resilience for fairer, more sustainable outcomes. As humanity confronts its gravest ecological emergency—marked by extreme degradation, climate migration, catastrophes, and widening disparities—the urgent need grows for skills that can protect and revitalize our world.

This program prepares graduates to tackle these issues as skilled development planners, providing insights into urban environmental transformations and strategic tools grounded in systems thinking, ecological justice, and sustainable practices.
