This Master's program fosters a comprehensive approach to studying child development and various childhood conditions. It offers students hands-on clinical experience during a supervised second-year placement within mental health services. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge, research methodologies, and therapeutic approaches from diverse fields such as clinical psychology, cognitive science, systemic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis, and neuroscience. Participants engage in research projects while developing competencies in child mental health assessment, therapeutic relationship-building, and outcome evaluation - skills they subsequently apply during their clinical placement. This degree serves as excellent preparation for advanced clinical studies, research careers, or roles within child-focused professions. With an annual intake limited to just 20 students, the program maintains rigorous selection criteria, giving preference to applicants with substantial prior experience in relevant areas.
