This program provides advanced training in biomaterials, bioengineering, tissue engineering, medical engineering, and related management subjects. Taught by UCL faculty and distinguished guest lecturers from industry and medical organizations, this multidisciplinary course welcomes graduates from physical sciences, engineering, life sciences, and medical backgrounds. UCL Mechanical Engineering features specialized laboratories that support biomaterials and tissue engineering studies. The department houses six dedicated biomaterials and bioengineering labs, established with support from the Royal Society and Wolfson Foundation. Additionally, the Engineering Building's Materials Hub includes a specialized biomaterials processing and forming laboratory.
