The MRes program equips students with essential skills for developing integrated electronic and photonic systems used in information technology, sensing, communications, manufacturing, and healthcare applications. Participants can select from specialized course modules and short research projects that build expertise in photonic systems, enhance research capabilities, and deepen industry knowledge. This program is particularly suited for science, engineering, and physics graduates seeking a Master's degree as preparation for PhD studies. Structured as the initial year of a four-year doctoral training pathway (1+3 model), successful completion determines eligibility for advancement to the PhD program.
