Under close supervision, students will develop their research while receiving guidance on supplementary courses and activities to facilitate thesis completion. Research areas include developmental psychology (with an educational focus), mental health, special educational needs (SEN), and educational neuroscience. Prospective applicants should review UCL IRIS and the Psychology and Human Development department's website to find suitable supervisors before applying.
Our institution hosts the UK's largest team of psychologists specializing in education and youth development research. Collaborating with UCL Psychology & Language Sciences and Birkbeck, we're expanding our neuroscience research capabilities at the forefront of psychological science.
