The UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (UCL GOS ICH) strives to develop highly skilled postdoctoral researchers with a forward-thinking approach and expertise in versatile research techniques, teamwork, and professional connections. As a globally renowned institution, UCL GOS ICH collaborates closely with Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust (GOSH), creating Europe's largest hub for pediatric health research.

Our strong partnership with GOSH enables collaborative research and teaching with direct clinical applications. Students gain access to state-of-the-art facilities at GOS ICH and the neighboring Zayed Centre for Research, an internationally recognized institution focused on pioneering treatments for children with rare conditions.

Qualification Requirements

Science graduates must have an upper second-class Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in a relevant discipline or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. Clinical candidates must have a registerable qualification appropriate to the programme to be followed in Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Studies. Overall grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subtests. Overall score of 100 with 24/30 in reading and writing and 20/30 in speaking and listening.
