This innovative two-year Master's program enables graduates from non-landscape architecture backgrounds to launch careers in this dynamic field. Landscape architects play a pivotal role in designing both urban and rural spaces. The curriculum provides comprehensive expertise in landscape architecture principles and professional practice, drawing from contemporary research and scholarly work. Through design-focused instruction, participants master various creative techniques and investigative approaches to develop their design capabilities, preparing them for professional practice. The program welcomes applicants holding a UK bachelor's degree (First or Second Class Honours) in landscape architecture or related disciplines, or equivalent international qualifications. Professionals with alternative credentials and relevant work experience may also qualify for admission.

Qualification Requirements

A minimum of a second-class UK degree in an appropriate subject or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. A design/creative portfolio is also expected. Applicants will be asked to provide a link to a portfolio of their design work once their completed application has been received, and should not send or upload work until it has been requested. The English language level for this programme is: Level 2

UCL Pre-Master's and Pre-sessional English courses are for international students who are aiming to study for a postgraduate degree at UCL. The courses will develop your academic English and academic skills required to succeed at postgraduate level. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Version - Overall score of 7.0 and a minimum of 6.5 in each component. Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Overall score of 96 with 24/30 in reading and writing and 22/30 in speaking and listening.
