This Bachelor of Science program explores the societal and economic factors influencing our global landscape. Significantly, it merges perspectives from social sciences with comprehensive instruction in quantitative data analysis techniques that are in high demand professionally. Students will examine at least three social science fields, incorporating sociology and economics. The Social Sciences with Data Science program delivers a structured, in-depth social science education paired with specialized data science instruction.
Annually, two out of eight course modules will focus on data science, provided by UCL's Q-Step Center.
Previous experience with coding or statistics isn't required. The curriculum begins with fundamentals, guiding learners progressively through data science concepts.
