This Bachelor of Science program is tailored for students aiming to focus primarily on mathematics while also gaining insights into economics and related fields like commerce and business. No prior economics background is necessary. During the initial two years, you'll build a solid foundation in analysis, algebra, and mathematical methods, mirroring the coursework of full-time Mathematics students taking 3.0 credits annually. Instead of Applied Mathematics modules, you'll complete 1.0 credit of introductory economics each year (covering both microeconomics and macroeconomics). After establishing these fundamentals, the third year offers diverse elective options in both mathematics and economics.
