UCL's Human Sciences programs integrate life sciences with social and historical studies, providing diverse options and adaptability. We seek self-motivated, analytical students passionate about science while embracing interdisciplinary perspectives. The Human Sciences curriculum features extensive module selections spanning life sciences, social sciences, historical studies, and other academic areas. Following foundational coursework in year one, students can customize their degree path to align with their specific interests within Human Sciences.
The first year establishes core competencies across disciplines through primarily required introductory modules from various UCL departments.
During years two and three, students select specialized modules from across UCL's Human Sciences offerings. Required courses in Statistics and Human Sciences in Society (second year) plus the Human Sciences Seminar Project (third year) enhance essential, versatile skills for academic and professional development.
