This program offers thorough instruction in the statistical foundations of data science, combined with fundamental computing skills and algorithmic thinking essential for contemporary data analysis. No prior knowledge of probability, statistics, or computer science is required. Throughout the degree, theoretical learning is complemented by hands-on practice, including training in at least two programming languages and real-world applications of theoretical principles.

The initial year establishes a strong base in these disciplines for all students while further developing the expertise of those with some prior familiarity: you'll explore mathematics, statistics, and computing, laying the groundwork for more specialized data science studies in subsequent years.
