This rigorous interdisciplinary program, delivered by two top-ranked UK departments in their fields, provides students with comprehensive training in both Geography and Economics' theoretical foundations and practical applications. The curriculum maintains equal emphasis on both subjects, though students can adjust this balance during their second and final years. Annual studies include dedicated coursework in both disciplines. While the first year follows a structured format, the second year offers more flexibility, and the final year provides extensive elective options. Participants must complete at least 90 credits in each subject across Years Two and Three.
Being a joint-degree program requiring proficiency in both Geography and Economics, students typically cannot select modules from other departments - except for potential consideration of one third-year module through special approval.
