During the first year, you'll learn a mainland Scandinavian language alongside Old Norse, with optional courses in Scandinavian history, linguistics, and medieval studies. Additionally, you can choose modules from the School of European Languages, Culture and Society (SELCS), broadening your studies to include literature, cinema, arts, and cultural topics.
