Our Polish and Romanian program provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, art, cinema, and various cultural aspects related to their chosen language(s). The curriculum develops advanced proficiency in speaking, writing, and comprehending your selected languages. As you advance, mandatory language courses adapt to your current skill level, alongside required studies in literature and cultural studies.
The third year involves international study, divided between two nations where your target languages are spoken. This immersive experience not only enriches your understanding of the languages and cultures but also enhances your adaptability and independence. Typically, students spend this year at partner universities, though other options like professional internships may be available.
