Our combined Italian and Art History program provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from an extensive array of course modules spanning literature, linguistic studies, historical analysis, sociological perspectives, philosophical inquiry, artistic movements, cinematic studies, and various cultural aspects tied to their language studies.
During your first, second, and final academic years, you'll enroll in Italian language courses along with complementary studies in literature, cultural studies, historical contexts, and linguistic analysis, while also pursuing Art History modules (consult UCL's Art History department pages for specific program information).
Your third academic year will be spent abroad in an Italian-speaking nation, either enrolled at a partner university or completing a professional internship. The program ensures equivalent language proficiency outcomes for all students, regardless of their initial Italian language competency.
