Our Hebrew and Spanish degree program provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, art, cinema, and other cultural aspects tied to the languages they'll master. Spanish language courses are conducted at UCL's School of European Languages, Culture & Society (SELCS), while Hebrew instruction is provided by UCL's Hebrew & Jewish Studies department.
During your first, second, and final academic years, you'll enroll in language courses along with complementary studies in literature, culture, historical contexts, and linguistic analysis related to your chosen languages.
