Our degree program in German and Norwegian provides excellent opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and intercultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from an extensive array of modules covering literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, art, cinema, and various cultural aspects related to their chosen language(s). The third year involves overseas study, divided between two German and Norwegian-speaking nations. All students attain equivalent language proficiency, whether beginning a new language or building upon existing knowledge.
