Our Dutch and German degree program provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and intercultural perspectives in the humanities. You can select from diverse modules spanning literature, linguistic traditions, history, sociology, philosophy, art, cinema, and other cultural aspects related to the Dutch and German languages you'll study.
During your first, second, and final years, you'll enroll in Dutch and German language courses alongside cultural modules exploring interdisciplinary themes through literature, film, history, and linguistics.
Your third year will be spent abroad, divided between Dutch- and German-speaking regions. Options include studying at a partner institution or completing an approved work placement. Regardless of whether you begin as a beginner or with prior language experience, you'll attain equivalent language proficiency.
