Our Dutch and French degree program provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and intercultural perspectives in the humanities. You can select from diverse modules spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and other cultural aspects related to the Dutch and French languages you'll master. During your first, second, and final years, you'll enroll in Dutch and French language courses alongside cultural studies that explore interdisciplinary themes through literature, film, history, and linguistics.
Your third year will be spent abroad, divided between Dutch-speaking and French-speaking regions. Options include studying at a partner institution or completing an authorized work placement. Regardless of whether you begin as a novice or with prior language experience, you'll attain equivalent language proficiency by graduation.
