Our combined degree in Danish and Spanish provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from an extensive array of modules spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and other cultural elements tied to the Danish and Spanish languages they'll master. During the first, second, and final years, learners will undertake language courses in both Danish and Spanish alongside cultural studies that explore diverse themes through interdisciplinary lenses, incorporating literary works, films, historical contexts, and linguistic analysis.
The third year involves international study, divided between Danish- and Spanish-speaking nations. Options include university study at partner institutions or approved professional placements. By the conclusion of this year abroad, all students must demonstrate equivalent language proficiency, whether they began as complete beginners or with prior language experience.
