Our degree program in Danish and Hebrew provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects tied to their language studies. Danish language courses are conducted at UCL's School of European Languages, Culture & Society (SELCS), while Hebrew instruction occurs within UCL's Hebrew & Jewish Studies department. Throughout the first, second, and final academic years, participants will engage with language courses alongside related studies in literature, cultural context, historical background, and linguistic analysis.
