The UCL Anthropology BScÔªø integrates evolutionary, environmental, social, and medical anthropology with material culture studies, offering a comprehensive anthropology education. You'll develop tools to address contemporary global issues, from poverty and conflict to climate change and social inequalities.
Your third year involves studying abroad at one of our renowned partner institutions. Hands-on learning includes working with artifacts, photographs, and specimens from UCL's Ethnography and Biological Anthropology Collections, while contributing to our student-run Anthropolitan magazine.
The curriculum draws on the department's pioneering research in digital media's cultural impacts, sustainability studies, and even anthropological perspectives on NASA space missions. This program examines humanity's evolutionary roots, environmental relationships, and cultural dimensions.
You'll acquire valuable skills including analytical thinking, research synthesis, teamwork, and effective communication.
