This program helps you cultivate and refine your abilities as a humanities scholar, preparing you for a Creative Writing and English degree. You'll build confidence in analytical thinking and written expression while enhancing both critical evaluation and creative composition skills. The course fosters inclusive, innovative approaches to humanities studies. You'll also explore interdisciplinary connections with fields like History, Philosophy, and Politics/International Relations. While discovering your unique creative perspective, you'll deepen your ability to analyze diverse literary works and theoretical texts spanning from the Renaissance to contemporary times. Our faculty includes actively publishing authors across multiple genres - poets, fiction writers, playwrights, and screenwriters - who bring professional industry experience. You'll collaborate with literature scholars who incorporate current research and teaching methodologies, keeping you informed about evolving creative practices and critical discussions in various literary forms. Throughout this program, you will: Examine writing techniques across multiple formats including poetry, fiction, screenwriting, digital media, and creative nonfiction.
