Our BA (Hons) Audio Production and Music Technologies program provides comprehensive training in technical, theoretical, and practical aspects of core audio technologies and industry standards. During your initial year, the majority of instruction occurs in the University's state-of-the-art Professional Recording Studio. Centered around an SSL Duality Console, this facility boasts cutting-edge Pro Tools MTRX systems, premium outboard processors from leading brands like Manley, Bricasti, Neve, API and Universal Audio, along with ATC 5.1 monitoring systems.

In your second year, training shifts to our professional-grade Soho-standard dubbing and grading suite, equipped with an expansive Avid S6 console, Pro Tools MTRX setup, 4K projection, and Dolby Atmos-compatible ATC monitoring. Students also have access to a dedicated Mac Suite featuring 26 iMacs loaded with Pro Tools, Cubase, and Logic software, complemented by professional sample libraries from Spitfire Audio and the complete Adobe Suite.

Music technology and audio production skills are essential across multiple creative sectors including gaming, film, television, and advertising.
