The MSc program offers an opportunity to master sophisticated principles spanning various mechanical engineering disciplines, such as materials technology, thermofluid dynamics/energy systems, mechanics of rigid and deformable bodies, production processes, strategic planning, and design. This foundation is strengthened through project and research methodology studies, equipping learners with expert-level competencies in both professional and academic research environments.
Mechanical Engineering represents the creative implementation of engineering and management principles that support current and emerging technologies throughout the entire lifespan of mechanical devices, machinery, and integrated systems. The MSc syllabus has been carefully designed to deliver postgraduate-level mechanical engineering instruction, aiming to cultivate graduates with robust theoretical knowledge prepared for pioneering industrial roles.
Instruction is provided by the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Chester's historic Exton Park campus.
