Our Law (LLB) program establishes the groundwork for your professional journey, serving as the first step toward qualifying as a solicitor, barrister, or legal executive, while also providing respected training for various other career paths. Chester Law School fosters close connections with regional legal experts and community partners to enrich our curriculum and maximize your university experience. Through visiting speakers and extracurricular initiatives like pro bono (free legal service) opportunities, you'll develop skills that distinguish you as an exceptional Law graduate.
Our Law (LLB) program offers flexible study options aligned with your interests. Establish core legal knowledge in your first year, then participate in our practical Work Based Learning module during your second year. In your final year, you can specialize by selecting modules that align with your career goals, refining your expertise before entering the profession.
Beyond academics, participate in our active Law Society with its annual events calendar, gain practical experience through our Legal Advice Clinic, or contribute to the Chester Community Law Project - a student-run initiative applying legal knowledge to support local residents.
Our faculty includes experienced former practitioners and renowned academic lawyers, all dedicated to helping students achieve their professional ambitions.
