Chester's Music Journalism program offers the perfect launchpad for diving into the exciting intersection of words and music. Starting early in your studies, you'll learn from seasoned writers across various styles and begin crafting and publishing your own reviews.

This hands-on degree integrates music industry experts throughout, emphasizing practical experience in music journalism. Our students have secured internships at Mojo and Mixmag, with alumni landing roles at NME and Kerrang.

Our Program Director is an accomplished scholar who's covered music scenes globally, from Beijing to Brazil and Moscow to Marrakesh. With two years as editor of Ministry of Sound's Ibiza publication, plus TV and radio production experience, they bring valuable industry insights.

Students can utilize Apple Mac labs for magazine production, video projects, and podcast creation, while also working alongside peers from other disciplines.
