Industry professionals and academic experts will guide you in understanding how global destinations capitalize on and regulate tourism, its marketing strategies, and business operations. You'll examine upcoming tourism challenges, with a focus on sustainability, while gaining hands-on experience to shape your career path.
The program offers a comprehensive introduction to global tourism in year one, followed by specialized studies in years two and three. During these later years, you'll tailor your education by choosing elective modules that link tourism with event planning, marketing, or business administration.
Your second year includes a five-week tourism internship, while the third year features a self-designed research project. These experiences will distinguish you when pursuing career opportunities in the tourism sector.
This program can be taken as a joint degree with Events Management, Marketing Management, or Business Management, alongside the single honors option. Both three-year and four-year (with placement) study formats are available.
