The Fine Art program will enhance and broaden your artistic vision through contemporary, practice-focused learning supported by relevant theoretical foundations. You'll explore diverse mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, time-based and digital media, textiles, printmaking, and interdisciplinary studio work.
Our curriculum reflects the vibrant spectrum of modern fine art, balancing hands-on creation with essential theoretical knowledge. You'll acquire technical workshop abilities that inform studio projects in early levels and evolve into independent artistic practice by Level 6.
Our fully-equipped facilities feature specialized areas for foundry work, fabrication, printmaking, textiles, painting, and digital media. Advanced students enjoy dedicated studio spaces with ample storage. Professional placement opportunities bridge academic study with real-world practice, helping you visualize your future as an artist.
At Level 6, while 75% of your time focuses on studio work, flexible theory options accommodate different learning preferences - from concise essays and presentations to in-depth 8,000-10,000 word dissertations.
You'll benefit from frequent guidance by accomplished faculty members, many of whom maintain active national and international artistic careers and research profiles.
