The Fine Art program nurtures and enhances your artistic vision through contemporary, practice-focused learning supported by theoretical foundations. You'll explore various mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, time-based and digital media, textiles, printmaking, and interdisciplinary studio work.
Our curriculum reflects the vibrant diversity of modern fine art, balancing hands-on creation with intellectual exploration. You'll acquire technical workshop abilities that inform studio projects in early levels and evolve into independent artistic practice by Level 6.
Our comprehensive facilities feature specialized foundry and fabrication workshops, printmaking and textile studios, painting and drawing spaces, plus digital media resources. Advanced students enjoy dedicated studio areas with ample storage. Professional development opportunities and placements offer practical insights into artistic careers.
At Level 6, while about 75% of your time focuses on studio work, you can choose theoretical modules tailored to different learning preferences - ranging from concise essays and presentations to more extensive research projects.
You'll benefit from consistent guidance through tutorials and instruction from faculty members who are active practitioners and recognized scholars in their fields.
