This program offers a comprehensive curriculum that spans both theoretical and practical aspects of engineering. It aims to prepare future mechanical engineers to make meaningful contributions to society throughout the 21st century.
Our program integrates a variety of professional engineering and management competencies across four key focus areas:
design and production
motion and automation
material science
thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
The first two years provide all mechanical engineering students with foundational knowledge through lectures, workshops, lab sessions, design courses, and brief modeling and fabrication projects.
During your third year, you'll implement these fundamentals to solve actual, complex engineering problems, including a significant independent research project that fosters innovative problem-solving.
The final year allows you to choose specialized electives and participate in a major collaborative project tackling an open-ended engineering challenge.
