The Social Policy program offers a dynamic platform to examine pressing societal concerns surrounding welfare, inequity, marginalization, and criminal justice. Students engage with global challenges through interdisciplinary lenses incorporating social sciences, governance studies, policy frameworks, and economic principles.
The foundational year establishes core principles and philosophical approaches while building proficiency in theoretical, cross-national, and historical examination techniques. It simultaneously cultivates essential research capabilities and analytical competencies for social science practitioners. The second year expands these conceptual models while advancing methodological expertise.
Following the initial year, participants can specialize by selecting from diverse elective modules that investigate current social and political debates in greater detail.
