This program offers a comprehensive curriculum that explores various aspects of engineering science and practical applications. The course prepares future mechanical engineers to make meaningful contributions to society throughout the 21st century.
Our program integrates a broad spectrum of professional engineering and management competencies across four key disciplines:
design and production
mechanical systems and automation
material science
thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
The first two years provide foundational mechanical engineering knowledge shared by all students in the program. Instruction occurs through various methods including lectures, workshops, lab sessions, design classes, and hands-on projects in modeling and fabrication.
Your third year will be dedicated to applying acquired knowledge in an industrial setting through practical experience. While direct enrollment isn't available, transfers from related mechanical engineering programs are possible for students demonstrating exceptional academic performance and successful industry interviews. Available positions are limited and extremely competitive.
During your final year, you'll implement learned principles to address authentic, complex engineering challenges. A significant component involves an independent research project that fosters innovative problem-solving and self-directed learning.
